The Fashion Design Awards is an annual fashion design competition encouraging young up and coming design students to enter.
Fashion designers will be given a brief to create a cohesive collection of 3 ready to wear outfits that reflects their interpretation
of the years favourite fashion trends.
After the completion of the brief there will be five semi-finalists selected. Thereafter the public will have the opportunity to cast their vote for their favourite. To create even more awareness for the designers there will be an expo stand based at a shopping mall in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
The public can vote for their favourite designer by writing their names on the entry forms provided and inserting it in the entry boxes.
Votes can also be done online on the Foschini website.
The finalists stand a change to walk away with a year internship at the TFG design centre where they will create their own capsule
collection that will be sold in-store. This is a wonderful opportunity for young talent to not only gain experience in the industry but also to jumpstart
