Challenge
As the divide between technology and fashion closed with the advent and explosion in wearable technology, a gap opened in the market. Shoppers wanted, and were willing to pay, for designer devices and accessories but there was nowhere for them to go. They were cashed-up but time-poor and needed a place where they could easily find the technology that fitted their individual styles. A place that stocked the best and latest devices from the big labels, that offered personalised service. Idea
We Created Move – the fusion of fashion and technology. A new retail concept offering curated collections of the latest wearable, on-the-go technology and accessories. We were involved in every aspect of bringing the concept to life – the store name, brand identity, graphics, store design and construction, advertising, digital and social presence. Designed for today’s tech-savvy, fashion-conscious shoppers, the retail environment has a premium feel usually only found in high-end, luxury retailers. Results
The first Move store launched October 2013 at Bondi Junction to instant acclaim. That success has lead to another eight stores in prime locations in across Australia, including the new Emporium in Melbourne. The Move concept received positive mention at the 2014 Apple worldwide conference, and plans are underway to open stores internationally.
