Poly's Day
A day-long festival celebrating the life of the iconic Somali Punk pioneer Poly Styrene organised by Numbi Arts. The event explores Poly’s world through DIY workshops, panel discussions, food, photography and music.
Taking inspiration from tie and dye, I created a series of patterns using the technique of suminagashi using soap water and ink which became the main motif for the poster
