Williams F1 retro futurist photoshop bodge. Probably the last of these I'll do for a bit - must get back to using a pencil... always loved this colour scheme. Like the others below, this is a "fantasy" - it'd never pass the rules as they stand, but it's meant to loosely look like a new F1 car inspired by the 1986 Williams FW11.
Another retro livery - this one perhaps a tad closer to what next year's rules will actually be - but - no - it still wouldn't be legal. Ah well - that's not the point...I was tempted to keep the Mercedes "silver arrow" thing, but what with the talk of the Honda move, I couldn't resist tying this back to the McLaren MP4/8...
Silver Arrows Concept

…another F1 car rendering. For this one I wanted to evoke something of the 1950′s W156 and the much earlier W154, W125s; very difficult because of the great gulf of time/technology between now and then (and the fact the older cars were front-engined). Anyway, I had a lash at it and this is the result – a little more mid-90s Indycar than I would have expected but there you are.

I left sponsorship off this as I wanted it to be a “Silver Arrow” – not a “Petronas Silver Arrow” – and hey – Mercedes should be able to get by without the sponsorship, no? After all – they don’t have to pay Ross Brawn anymore…  [;-)]
Lotus Concept

Another F1/Photoshop bodge-job, this time based on the 2013 Lotus. Tried to simplify the contouring of the car a little while keeping the edginess of the design. Applied a graphic package more in keeping with the 1986/86 Lotus 97 and 98Ts. This time, unlike the Ferrari I kept the dimensions largely the same except for lowering the overall height a little. Notice that the placement of the mirrors make them nearly useless - I thought that both Grosjean and Maldonado would appreciate that... ;-)
Ferrari Concept

This is a photoshop rendering built upon a shot of the 2013 Ferrari F138. I had originally intended to photoshop it into something outrageously futuristic, but was looking at a Gerhard Berger 1988 Ferrari (always loved how "low" those were) and this evolved into something more retro than futuristic. I've already had comments elsewhere that I've spelled "Kimi" wrong - it doesn't start with an "A". Haha...

I've called this posting "concepts" as I do hope to add some more here in the future...
