"Project Polus" (temporary title) is a graphic novel I am working on. Heavily inspired by the show Lost as well as the game Among Us, it's about a group of high school students who embark on a space exploration field trip and end up stranded on an unknown planet.
(Left) - Mia: The class leader; she is brave and inspiring, the voice of motivation who raises the spirits of her classmates. However her intense enthusiasm can sometimes make her seem a bit obsessive and controlling.
(Middle) - Charles: The loner; very smart and polite, but his soft voice and generally weak presence causes his classmates to often forget he exists.
(Right) - Terry: The class jock; unofficial second-in-command, his charisma and energy help to boost the confidence of his classmates, although he isn't very smart and tends to say the wrong thing quite often.
(Left) - Fred: The creep; he likes to make himself the villain by putting his classmates in awkward situations and being borderline inappropriate, but he finds it to be the only way he ever gets any sort of attention.
(Middle) - Kari: The prodigy; treated like the little sister of the team, being younger than everyone because she skipped a grade. Despite her age, she is by far the most intelligent and can keep her cool better than anyone else.
(Right) - Jane: The delinquent; essentially the cool older sister, she is all about breaking rules and causing chaos. Gets into a lot of trouble but stays very loyal to her friends.
(Left) - Sean: The cynic; although he considers himself the voice of reason, he tends to dampen the mood with his blunt attitude and irritability. However, his honesty and rational approach helps keep his classmates on the right path.
(Middle) - Cindy: The diva; rich, spoiled, and entitled, she will stop at very little to get her way in life. Her selfish personality pushes most of her classmates away, but she will assure you that she has enough friends anyway.
(Right) - CJ: The heartthrob; the smooth-talking pretty-boy, he is cunning and quite persuasive with his charm; his constant proximity to Cindy would suggest he's equally undesirable, but he actually tends to be a lot more liked by his peers.
(Left) - Kevin: The stoner; easygoing and relaxed, he isn't too bothered by anything that goes on around him. His focus in life is to take it easy, have a good time, and make sure his classmates are smiling too.
(Middle) - Will: The class clown; it's never a dull moment with Will. Random, rambunctious, and unfiltered, he says what is on his mind and it usually makes the room erupt in laughter, which is almost always his intent.
(Right) - Neha: The band geek; bubbly and optimistic, she is the sweetest student and wants to spread joy everywhere she goes. Despite her sunny persona, she is quite sensitive and very little conflict is enough to bring her to tears.
(Left) - Daisy: The alien; she encounters the students shortly after they crash upon an unknown planet. With erased memories and seemingly no idea of her own identity, the only thing certain about Daisy is that she is most definitely not from Earth.
(Right) - Ms. Jo: The chaperone; she is the teacher tasked with navigating the students safely into outer space and back, but an unfortunate turn of events will jeopardize this responsibility despite her best efforts.
