Taking a Stand Campaign
The format of the poster is spaced in a way that brings emphasis on the focal point. The focal point, being the “Taking a Stand” text, is neatly centered and spaced within the poster without overcrowding the other information.  It provides balance for each of the elements within the poster.
Making the poster black on top and white on the bottom helps make the poster more visually interesting. Also, making the type white on the top and black on the bottom helps give more emphasis on what is being shown. There is also a detail where the “a” in “Taking a Stand” splits color, allowing for more interesting composition within the poster, driving the viewer to observe it more.
The type I used is meant to emphasize the feeling of empowerment. I chose the Acme Gothic typeface for use as a strong font to emphasize that theme better. Specifically, I enlarged the “Stand” portion of the type to give provide that emphasis even more. The type is also neatly spaced and alignment is evenly distributed. It allows the type to not get overcrowded and provide a nice flow in between them.
