Ankara, Sacrificial Animal Market
Villagers come all around Turkey to the capital city Ankara's sacrificial animal market for Eid-al Adha. Farmers left their families behind them and come to Ankara but sometimes they bring their sons with them to help taking care of animals. In this markets, villagers show their animals to Muslim customers who want to sacrifice animals for Allah's name. These markets were set up by municipalities every year a couple of weeks ago from eid. Farmers usually sell sheep, goats, and cows in these markets. Sometimes worshippers want to sacrifice camels too. When an animal is sold to a customer, farmers sign the animals with red paint. Thus they can distinguish the animal they sold.
