It's a Volkswagen Type 1 or informally known as the Beetle, Käfer, Coccinelle, or any other term for a bug... It was the longest-running and most-manufactured car of a single platform ever made (over 21 million produced from 1938 to 2003).

It's an Alfa Romeo 8C 2300, made in 1931. It was originaly a race car, but road versions soon followed with added fenders, mirrors and other frills :)
