EDI protocol is a process of exchanging the business data between different computer systems and to transfer the data via EDI both the system needs to have the same protocol. Several types of EDI protocols are available to facilitate successful business communication within the organizations and each of the EDI protocols represents a standard guideline that determines the level of message encryption and what software will be required to ease the transmission process.
