Weylandts Direct Mailer

The high quality furniture company Weylandts wanted to invite successful South African interior designers to the launch of their new product range. 
 
Research taught us two things: that the demanding lifestyles of interior designers doesn't leave much time for travel and that Weylandts sources a great deal of its inspiration and materials from foreign countries.
 
With these two nuggets of information came the thought that furnishing one’s home with Weylandts furniture is like taking a trip around the world without having to physically cross any borders.
So we decided to send our busy interior designers a travel journal. 
The journal comes with a bookmark inviting the recipient to a Weylandts product range event.
The journal is personally addressed to the various interior designers and includes a welcoming note.
The journal contains hand-drawn maps and anecdotal narratives about five different countries Weylandts has sourced inspiration from.
Each narritive involves and describes a Weylandts furniture piece.
The journal also includes valuable travel tips for each of the countries.
On the Weylandts website, we added a 'Roam Sweet Roam' page where consumers can read information about South African interior designers and shop their look.
