Here are some double-sided flyer mock-ups of my 4 Degrees West project showing some more information and details of the event and where it is situated.
On the front side, I believe I have thought more about my layout with these designs as the text feels more spacious. Again blue is featured more as I think using a bright yellow all the time may be too tiring for the audiences eyes.
On the other side, I have shown the map with the two locations for the festival. I have never produced a map before so I found even doing a basic map quite challenging. I have clearly identified the travel routes but I think with more time this could be improved upon with some more little details e.g. showing the roads, bus routes.
The brief was to create an identity for an imagined alternative activity festival called '4 Degrees West - The Urban Coast Weekender'. It is a summer festival that's goal is to represent the city of Swansea (where I am from!) including it's connection with the sea. This was an open project that had no boundaries which helped me to explore and experiment with my creativity!
