For three years, I held a staff position as Group Art Director of HFN and HIGHPOINTS Magazines. Created for the furniture and tabletop trade industry, these were weekly and monthly magazines with quarterly supplements published by Fairchild Publications, Inc. / Conde Nast. As Group Art Director, I managed an art department of four people, developed and maintained budgets, hired photographers and designers. At this time, my love for photo styling flourished and I developed many concept photo shoots in the studio and on location.
During my three years at HFN and HIGHPOINTS, I created the concept redesign of both magazines which launched successfully. HIGHPOINTS was re-baptized as INFURNITURE and became a big hit in the furniture trade industry.
