Eton Education
This is a branding project for a trusted tuition centre located in the heartlands of Singapore.
The brief was short and simple: to rejuvenate the decade-old brand, while bringing forth a warm, approachable personality. Indeed, that was the immediate impression I got from my first meeting with the founders and working staff.
And so began a three-month long journey to translate that warmth and approachability over to the new brand identity.
Eton comprises three pillars of education: Eton Junior (for primary school students taking the local Primary School Leaving Examination), Eton Secondary (for secondary school students taking the GCE O-Level Examination), and Eton Junior College (for junior college students taking the GCE A-Level Examination).
Characters were created for each pillar: starting from a young baby otter, to a teenage otter, and lastly to an adult otter.
This represents the concept of growth, where Eton firmly believes that the love for education should be nurtured from a young age, and that learning is a lifelong journey. Even as graduates of Eton move on to higher education, such as the polytechnics and universities, they are always welcome to seek the tutors' advice.
