The protest at Singhu border will be completing eight months this august , it came to the delhi borders from 26th of November after protesting in their home state Punjab from september.
The 2020–2021 Indian farmers' protest is an ongoing protest against three farm acts which were passed by the Parliament of India in September 2020.
Farmer unions and their representatives have demanded that the laws be repealed and have stated that they will not accept a compromise.In Punjab, small-scale protests had started in August 2020 when the Farm Bills were made public. It was only after the passage of the acts that more farmers and farm unions across India joined the protests against the reforms.
