PSA Ad Campaign
This project involved designing a series of three high quality ad posters to be used in a Public Service Announcement (PSA) print campaign. The posters should promote an important issue that affects both communities and individuals.
I created posters that communicate the concept clearly, in a manner that influences a specific audience to understand my chosen topic more deeply, and to motivate them to act.
For my topic, I chose immigration. In my research I’ve learned that a big issue right now in immigration is separation of mothers from their children, so I wanted to focus on that for my posters. I want to show that immigrants are real people too, and the purpose of my posters will be to highlight this issue of separation and raise awareness.
My posters appeal to people’s emotions, and the shocking images draw people in. Most people can relate to losing a loved one, and that is what these posters call to, in a different way.
