The State Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, CEPD, established by law 8.360 of December 29, 2005, is a collegiate body of a consultative, deliberative, supervisory and normative nature of public policies, linked to the State Secretariat for Human Rights and Participation Popular (Sedihpop), which aims to implement, implement and defend the rights of people with disabilities.
