The identity for a ceramist

Ksenia Wallenstein identity

Ksenia Wallenstein is a Budapest based ceramist.  She has requested a visual identity.
For her logo, I used the shapes of clay blanks that are kept in the ceramic workshops. I was also inspired by the artistic installation Kimsooja 'Archive of Mind' with the clay balls on the table in different colors, inviting the audience to enjoy the hand-made process. Natural colours and grotesque font reflect the designer's style and Japanese attitude to the craft. Minimalistic identity referred both to the Europe and Asia, and captures the spirit of Ksenia Wallenstein.
