I finally got a foil machine (a.k.a. a souped-up laminator) and was eager to try it out. Here are a couple of videos and shots of my first attempt.

I inked a simple design that would work well with copper accents. I didn't finish it in this take, but you get the idea. I wanted the inkwork to look natural and loose to express the nature theme. Then I edited in Photoshop and set it up to print.
I ran the new print through the foil machine, then held my breath and pulled back the foil.
It's so shiny! I wasn't expecting such a wide color range from this foil, but I really enjoy it. It shifts so much in the light.
Took it outside to show off the brightness.
I wanted to show how reflective this print is in sunlight. A crow flew overhead just as I started filming, that little blink in the beginning is its shadow.
Definitely looking forward to more foiling projects!
