The Need
The studio was requested us to redefine UX and design a Geo based information System helping the work of road, traffic and transportation engineers, transportation planners, city planners, public policy experts, geographers, economists as well as system and development engineers.
Over time, as we guided the growth of the decision-making platform development, we have incorporated numerous new features and functionalities to cater to various data layers and tools. This new national system replaces several separate city systems, with an additional design of an overarching information center.
Process and Results
Mission started with understanding and breaking apart functionalities and rearranging panels, filters, queries and data fields into a new clear unified UX Information Architecture structure.
We guided development to assure that the planning system is easy to use and navigate.
The work included branding, illustrations, UI components, icons and design system.
