In January, 2011, a scenario writer Choi Goeun who graduated from Korean famous university died due to starvation and loneliness. By this incident, an artist welfare law was enforced in Korea.

Goeun Space is an alternative space supporting independent film and a place where talented poor artists communicate with people while showing their own work.

‘Goeun’ which is Korean name of ‘Choi Goeun’ is naming that ‘Gonggan’, a Korean representing the space, came together. Goeun’s Korean meaning is soft. They utilized Choi Goeun’s Korean name wishing difficult and tough artist’s life to become soft.

 

Choi Goeun passed away in solitude. Therefore the concept is ‘concern’. We focused on attracting people’s eyes.

1) Although turning the logo, the meaning of ‘Goeun space’ is delivered. We made it into image by utilizing formative similarity *Goeun and *space have.

2) We induce people’s concern ceaselessly using flexible identity.

3) 3d pattern and bright color induce people’s concern.

The noun with '고은공간' will be written in Korean.
