"Stain"

My plate is like an experimental set-up on how fast the seed would stain, the range its stain can occupy the paper and what color will it give: is it yellow, orange or red. Achuete seeds function as food coloring, according to some sources it has a nutmeg taste. I know we used to play with it during my childhood days, its seeds make our hands and shirt color orange to red depending on how many seeds we have and we used to hunt spiders on its tree. During the process on making this stain, I went back to the place where I know achuete tree grows so that I can also use the pods encasing its seeds for installation, but they're all gone, so I decided to use the one sold in the market. The results of incorporating the seed with different solutions is good, its waxy characteristic stained the paper well. I like the tone and how the colors create a nebula-like design on the paper.
