TAHANAN NG OPM: OPM ZINE
Based in the Philippines, Tahanan ng OPM, who founded OPM Zine, collaborated with Lingkod Sining PH to form a fundraising to help jeepney drivers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and Pantawig Pag-ibig donation last August 2020.
We were tasked to create illustrations or comics related to any Original Philippine Music, or also known as OPM, and I used Munimuni, an indie band in the Philippines, to be the OPM group to illustrate.
My personal attachment to their songs are strong as they have became my solace. Their songs mean a lot to me and I am happy to be able to illustrate their music and express their beautiful lyricism.
