Esse baralho é o projeto do meu TCC do curso de Publicidade e Propaganda. A ideia era retratar o cantor Freddie Mercury através de seus figurinos e mostrar como eles expressavam a sua marcante personalidade nos palcos. Foram selecionadas 13 fotos do cantor ao longo de sua carreira, desde o começo até o final, para elaborar as ilustrações e cada uma foi colocada em uma carta diferente de cada naipe (rei, dama e valete) junto com a carta curinga

The idea was to portray singer Freddie Mercury through their costumes and show how they expressed their remarkable personality on stage. 13 photos of the singer were selected throughout his career, from the beginning to the end, to prepare the illustrations and each one was placed on a different card of each suit (king, queen and jack) along with the joker card
As 13 fotos selecionadas são desde o começo da sua carreira até o final, passando por diversas mudanças de figurino e também de visual, como o cabelo e o bigode.

C O R E S
Com uma paleta de cores análoga composta por vermelho, laranja e amarelo, juntamente com o preto, ela traz ao mesmo tempo a sensação de elegância e delicadeza para o baralho. Com isso, apenas as roupas dele foram coloridas, completando a ilustração com uma lineart para o restante do corpo.

EN: With an analogous color palette consisting of red, orange and yellow, along with black, it brings a sense of elegance and delicacy to the deck at the same time. With that, only his clothes were colored, completing the illustration with a lineart for the rest of the body.

As tipografias Alegreya, Arboria e Cormorant dão o toque final para as cartas e para a embalagem, com a Alegreya e Cormorant fazendo referência à tipografia original do Queen que possui serifa, e trazendo um aspecto moderno com a Arboria, uma tipografia sem serifa.
