Eye Candy Festival Street Art Mural

THURSDAY NIGHT: Projecting up the symmetrical section. Weather - drizzle. Issue - keeping projector working and dry!
FRIDAY NIGHT:  Applying wet paint to wet plaster - neither acrylic nor sprays could over come this - small amount of coverage - Rained off!!
SATURDAY MORNING: After all the paint had bled, luckily the initial guidelines were still visible - but the small amount that was applied the day before had completely washed out and needed reapplying.  Weather: More drizzle - gale force wind!

SATURDAY AFTERNOON:  Moving fast getting colour down - wind being impossible, tarpaulin cover even though weighted down - see above - is being dragged towards the wall bringing along smears of open paint palettes and pots and covering the mural.  More over painting!
SATURDAY AFTERNOON: My lovely assistant arrives to help with fill work, paint mixing, tea making, giggles and keeping me sane!  Weather: The sun is finally shining on us!!
SATURDAY LATE AFTERNOON:  Spillage disaster - 2 x 2.5 litres of paint tubs smashed and covering the floor with a rainbow in shades of lilac. Sheeeet! That's another 2/3 lost.  Really behind on time now... Only one day left!!
SUNDAY AFTERNOON: Battling to finish before night fall - Thankfully making headway with the help of Tasha Whittle The Colouring Box and Alex Godwin Billy and Alex  *Talented Troopers*
It's dark, but finally done and in time for our respective trains home to London and Manchester!! Bye and thanks Birmingham. Till the next time xx
