PUB
The term public house (short 'PUB') first appeared in the late 17th century, and was used to differentiate private houses from those which were, quite literally, open to the public as 'alehouses', 'taverns' and 'inns'. Many pubs are centuries old, and a very important part of the English culture.
Combining my minimalistic style with this traditional, quintessentially British, architecture was a challenge but I've enjoyed every aspect of it. I wanted bring out the beauty and the details of these old buildings which bring so much character and history to the city, and I was fascinated by the underlying symmetry in many of the designs.
