“PIATTO” (meaning “plate” in Italian)
Presenting food well is all part of the show of cooking. In fact, it is also a form of art. There is a wide range of shapes, styles and color of plates to choose from, but selecting the right plate is very important. The right choice will enhance the overall appearance and interest of the food upon the table. Considering the shape of the plate and how you serve food can make the simple become special.
Taking this concept, the goal was to create a simply unique and premium dual iPod docking system that has the balance of simplicity, function and high-tech engineering.
Design & Layout
The design and layout took into consideration all newest Apple products such as the iPod Nano 7, iPod Touch 5, iPhone 5, and iPad mini. The PIATTO is equipped with new dual lightning docks with a pivot spring moving dock mechanism for different device/case thinness. These docks let you charge any combination of two Apple devices, and also let you charge an additional third device (including Android Smartphone) via the USB port from the back.
Sound
The PIATTO features 20W total output power with full-range five drivers (Tweeter x2, Mid-range x2, and Subwoofer) to deliver high quality and defined sound.
Bluetooth
Its Bluetooth feature allows you to stream audio wirelessly from an iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, and as well as any other Bluetooth device, such as a smartphone, tablet and laptop. The adaptability of the system extends beyond simply docking and streaming, however. AUX and USB ports allow you to play and charge at the same time for any MP3 player or tablet.
Illumination Light
The unit also features dimmable illumination light on the back, which gives subtle indirect lighting as a night-light.
Touch Buttons
Its unique element is highlighted through a seamless sleek surface with back-lighted touch buttons; the product as a whole gives elegant and sophisticated look and feel.
