CONCEPT
Hver design in collaboration with 7factory present a pure wool upholstery fabric named "Sound of Iceland."
Reproduced on the fabric is the graph of a sound wave (waveform) that corresponds to a sound recorded in Iceland.
The first theme of the series is "the Icelandic harbour."
The sound was captured in a small, windy harbor on the peninsula of Snæfellsnes.

Sound is a mechanical wave that is an oscillation of pressure transmitted through a solid, liquid, or gas, composed of frequencies within the range of hearing.
A waveform is the shape and form of a signal such as a wave moving in a physical medium or an abstract representation.
The term 'waveform' refers to the shape of a graph of the varying quantity against time or distance that can be used to pictorially represent a wave.
