This title sequence is for a concept TV show. It follows the story of a highly respected doctor at a private hospital. His work is recognized by the hospital’s leadership, which leads to a new medical opportunity for the government. While he works on a number of interesting cases, his successful outcomes are not publicized due to their secretive nature. He later discovers that his experiments are reminiscent of childhood horrors.

Typography
I explored numerous looks for the typography in the title sequence, ranging from distressed, grungy serifs to modern typefaces. To complement the sterile feel of the title sequence, I decided to use a more classic, crisp typeface, resulting in my choice of Futura.
Early Renders

The result is a graphic sequence of subtle, dark metaphors that intrigue the audience so it follows our scientist’s journey. I stylized the final sequence, giving it more contrast to produce a black-and-white “pop” that mimics the buttoned-up atmosphere of the government offices and buildings.
