Lone Star Parity Project Brand Identity

Lone Star Parity Project is a non-profit dedicated to sharing the stories of women and femmes in Texas politics with the goal of discovering useful trends and tools that, once utilized, can ensure political parity to the state, across all levels of government.

I connected with them through Catchafire and had the pleasure of designing their brand manual. Additionally, I had the opportunity to revitalize their logo.
My goal with this redesign was to strengthen the logo's existing characteristics and give the brand a strong identifying mark. While I had no intention of creating a wholly different look, I was able to fine-tune the typography to give it a cleaner, more contemporary, and more accessible look. They have used the image of Texas in other branded elements, so I wanted to carry that into the new logo.
