This was a requested piece of work from a client within Barnsley College. They wanted a poster and double sided flyer to advertise around the college that attracted atention and provided information about the New York trip that would be available for students. The style I have designed the project in is a personal preference of mine and it was also the first time I did any kind of "art" within Illustrator.
So as you can see, above is the front of the flyer I designed, and it contains the arm of the statue of liberty which I have hand drawn within Illustrator, which allowed me to tamper with the statue and have an apple in her hand rather than a torch. To me this is very suitable as it is in a style that is quite big with students aged 16+ nowadays. Below is the back of the flyer that is the exact same, but it has the head of the Liberty instead.
And now we have got to the final piece... The poster! Now on the poster I have included the whole of the Illustrated Statue of Liberty, as it sort of created a puzzle, you saw an arm and head then you get a final piece that has everything together. So now you can view it in all it's glory!
