Following are some illustrations made for the a school book edited by Leya Group in 2010. They bellong in two sets, one about the evolution of communication throghout men´s history, and the other concerning the life of the portuguese poet Camões . The last illustration is part of the same book but is related to a text about the relevance of looking well in a job interview.
The texts that these illustrations relate to, are, as one would expect to find, much more direct and simple than the ones found in conventional editorial publications such as magazines or newspapers, so all these drawings tend to be far less dramatic then the illustrations made for single articles in magazines or newspapers. The following appear in sets so they complement each other instead of "speaking" for themselves. They are also much more easy to decode. They make sense as soon as one looks at them.
