A few years ago, I came to the idea to make a quick dystopian science fiction illustration of how I saw the world of the social media and the "connections" between people, distorted by the network. My ugly caricature had unfortunately become a bit too relevant in the year 2020.
Now, that I got to experience the total dependency on means of digital communication, but also, as it seems that the new "normal" in not yet, or at least not yet going to eat the entirety of our social fabric, I feel i should republish the concept. So here it is. Repacked and fresh:

A-social Distancing Hub (ADH) facilitates points of intersection (interaction) between our lives in analogue space and the lives of our digital personas.
It offers a safe environment both for our digital and analogue selves. Hence, when two people come to meet there, the space facilitates four personas. It is designed in such way, that none of the four can hurt the other three. They can however, establish a controlled interaction, with whomever they want, in a way they want to do it. The visitors’ privacy, their digital and physical identities and consistencies are protected.

So, if a Person A, which consists of Personas A1 and A2, A1 being a person in a “real” world and A2 being a digital “invented” persona, Person A should be able to chose which Persona they want to show in a meeting cell. That way, A1 or A2, can have a meeting with B1, or B2, however they chose, and in a safe way.
