For this project, I created a coffee shop brand that strayed away from the typically stereotypes that a coffee shop could hold. In thinking about my coffee shop experiences, I always find it hard to work in them as there is often a lot going on not just in the shop, but around me with the design as well. I wanted to create a calming and nice brand that would play to a coffee shop that prioritized the ambiance.
Through this research, I saw that muted, and cool colors were the most calming. I wanted to keep my typography sans serif and bubbled to keep a friendly and reliable feeling. When I think of ambiance, I think of the lighting within a space. This was the inspiration behind the name and logo of Ambient.
The light bulb is showcased on a mask for the employees and on coffee cups and packaging. The coffee cups and bag would have a soft texture to it.
