Multipurpose Jewelry: Solitaire Ring
The Multipurpose Jewelry Project consists in modules with which users may adapt to different occasions. Versatility is the keyword.
Consumers may initially acquire a pair of components (a basic item plus a matching piece) and use them in three different ways. They may gradually acquire other components and broaden the number of combinations.
In this version, I designed accessory-rings to be used by themselves or matching a classical diamond solitaire ring. The first models were produced in resin by a rapid prototyping machine and then reproduced in silver using the lost wax technique.
