The project of bringing a 1907 classic into the modern times of book covers, with the story White Fang, the main goal was to make it look modern and minimalistic.
The main idea was to make it look as modern without overdoing or underdoing it. In some of the designs I looked up the symbols for the story which included California, the woods, a sunrise, fangs, and the Native American culture, which led to some of the book cover designs.
