Tongue Tied - Programmer

I had the pleasure of working with @XazzyArts and @omosurode on a GameJam project, where in 3 days we were able to create a simple one level game. Our game was "Tongue Tied", where you played as frog defending his cookie from an increasing swarm of flies, with some help from some special powers.
During this I worked primarily on designing the players mechanics, specifically with a large focus on the tongue shooting ability and the four power ups, Ricochet, Sticky Hand, Triple Shot, and Fast Shot.

Fast Shot speed up the players main ability letting them quickly fire their tongue out.

Triple shot gave the player two more tongues for a brief time, giving them a wider range to catch flies.

Sticky hand locked the tongue onto the players cursor, letting them freely control it for a brief moment, snatching up any flies it touched.

And lastly my personal favorite, Ricochet would shoot out the frogs tongue, bouncing it between every fly on screen and wiping them out!
If you're interested at all in checking out the game you can find a link to it below! I hope you have as much fun playing it as I did helping to make it.
