MASSQ
Air pollution masks

Project MASSQ is a vision of a new product, which is a fully personalised anti-pollution mask. Each model is based on a 3D scan of a users face and then powder 3D-printed.

The masks are designed to become a new element of urban fashion. Users can choose from a variety of shapes and colors, and adjust it to their personal style.

The growing awareness of the problem of smog in cities means, that the demand for anti-smog masks is growing. They become an everyday element of clothing, and a new way to express yourself.

The design involves individual selection of the mask's character, thanks to which it confronts the monotonous offer on the market and meets various stylistic needs. A wide range of styles allows you to choose the mask to suit your own lifestyle.
Designing a mask begins with making a face scan of the future user. Based on the scan, a 3D model of the mask is created and then printed on a 3D printer in powder technology. As a result, the mask fits perfectly, adheres well to the face, is tight and comfortable. Under the printed design there is a replaceable carbon filter.

During the project, 4 models of masks were created.
