Electronic Music Instrument Interaction by BARAN GÜLEŞEN
This is an electronic music instrument interaction exhibition. There are five electronic music instrument in the exhibition. Here are these representational pictures how it is look.
ART OF VAN GOGH
Art of Van Gogh is a digital media tool for sound, pictures and images. Software has created by open source program Pure Data. Users use little light sources to interact with pictures and sounds. Users changing Van Gogh's Art and sound material theirs hand with. Box deform pictures and producing sound.Why I choose the name “ART of Van Gogh” ?
Name is came from his brush strokes, if you analysis his pictures in first view, You can see random brush strokes, just like a random hand shaking. On the other hand his pictures depth, colour and composition result are perfect and very balanced in itself. In this program, I used same method, to deform and movement for image and sound material with using mass spring system. And, I love Van Gogh' Art that's why I call the program and instrument Art of Van Gogh.

LOVE BUZZ RINGS
Love Buzz Rings are awesome electronic rings that are connecting with computer to couple. Couple take rings and touch
each other. They produce sound when they touch other's body.

SHAKING THE CUBE WORLD WHILE YOU ARE DANCING
Long name sooooo much fun!
This interaction base on motion tracking system. User pushes the button and says something what ever. When user finishes the recording on 5 sec. System playback his/her sound what user recorded. When user move in front of the camera his/her sound that was recorded and his/her movement change like amorphous modification according to user’s movement.be sure this is not complicated just for fun !
NOISE OF CUBES
Noise of Cubes is a Live Audiovisual performans area in this exhibition. The aim is controlling cubes and make some noise. Cubes are moving XYZ coordinate on the screen as of tidy. When cubes moving on the screen it produce sound, user interacts with screen and controller that is "Launcpad" cubes are moving when user pushes the midi instrument button.
How to use the controller ?
The green lights are moving cubes
Orange for the left side is closing and far away at the moment position as randomly
Orange for the right side make fast rotation for all cube position
Red one is getting the start position

SOUND SNATCH
Musical Joy pads are standard game joy pads. On the other hand users make music with these also, they interactwith other player music pattern. Its mean that user not only make music but also modification to other user’s musicpattern. Two-joy pad send basic midi message with Pure Data to Ableton. The system base on Pure Data and Abletonsoftware to Pure Data send midi message to Ableton to make music, assign midi message and playing loopier veryenjoying and simple. Additionally easy to change midi message or rhythmic pattern from Ableton. Hence, if user knowshow to control Ableton software, they can change joy pad button configuration for their desirable actions.
How it prepared the musical idea
Before to connect joy pads on computer prepared the musical harmony. In this example there are four chordsfor chord functioning. Key center is C7, Build with these chords Cmaj7, D7, G7 , A7. This is the expression controllingfrom user. User can manage the sequencing real-time. These chords trigger with 1-2-3-4 buttons on joy pad.
In addition, there are two rhythmic loops for each joy Pad, also bass sound and FX loop; Users can change bassloop tone (transpose) with arrow button, left and right. Rhythmic loops connect two FX sections. (Auto filter and PhaseFX). Auto filter can control with joy pad axis. On joy pad open/close (button 9) auto filter active to use axis to changefrequency and Q point. ; The other axis connect to phase just like auto filter (with same method)
