Graphic design-based college group project.

Islam is one of the strong religions. It was amazing to explore its culture, art, beliefs, design forms, calligraphy. And what really allured us were the designs. An interesting fact about Islamic designs is the simplicity in design which comes from a very complex construction of basic forms.
Their calligraphy is a venerated art as most of it is a depiction of spirituality, so its execution as a design element is restricted.
Architecture has been a feather in the cap of Islamic art as the designs on the Islamic monuments are enchanting, so here we have presented an Indian Islamic forum called Noor - e - Islam (Noor - Light) through which we have explored the beauty of Islamic designs and an informative panel reflecting Islamic art is presented by the very forum.

Following are the things that I had designed for the project.
The symbol is an inspiration from one of the Islamic design forms. As an example of a rich and simple design, we tried a different execution for the symbol on some of the print media. We experimented with laser-cut on stationaries like visiting cards, envelopes, and letterheads.
We also made a set of stationary on golden papers so as to present it to special clients.
