In this project I explored the emotional relation that we have with books . I created an object that could represent a book , but it was not. Composed and printed  with lead type but without ink , the book appears as blindprinting . As reference, the film Fahrenheit 451 was the most important starting point for it presents the same excessive and dramatic idea that I wanted to explore in my work , with all the connotation that involves burning books - imediately associated with violent episodes of the history of mankind- and carry this idea to the discussion about the future of books.
So I created a book wich features are ambiguous: is a blank book , no ink, devoid of all the main information that this object naturally contains, and in addition there are two similar copies to accentuate how difficult may be the destruction or the disappearance of the object.
Two 'useless objects' these days, why not burn them? The challenge is accentuated when there is a match on the cover. The intention is to ask the extent to which we are able to detatch from an object so unique?
