Microsoft Zune-themed PC concept
what if Microsoft revived the Zune mp3 player as a PC?
A long time ago I was involved in the project to work on the design of the 2nd generation Zune mp3 player from Microsoft.
I remember how far ahead the UI & interaction ideas from the great team at Microsoft were.
What has really stuck with me though was the brown/green translucent color & finish of the original Zune player which we were given to play with.
In one of my recent 'what-if' weekend-projects I decided to see what a Zune-branded PC from Microsoft would look like.
Basing the PC itself on the clean aesthetic of the Xbox Series X console I also transformed the Xbox Adaptive controller in a keyboard & mouse.
Finally I slapped on the Zune's brown/green finish et voilá - the ZunePC.
At the very least maybe Microsft can release a Zune-themed Xbox console?
