Hiking to the highest peak in the state of Baja California Sur in Mexico is not an easy task, but it is worth it every single step you take, specially with good company and a camera.
Starting at 8 am, we had at least to cover 7.5 miles to get to the camping site.
There were tough, exhausting parts to go through... but we always had a positive attitude!
Amazing how the landscape changed from desert to forest the more we hiked and just look at those pink sunsets.
As soon as the sun hid, the nights would get really cold changing from a sunny and warm 90F weather to almost 32F.
With enough rest, it was time to go to El Picacho at 5710 feet above sea level where you could see the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez.
And besides of all this, there was also some beautiful waterfalls with freezing cold water.
Heading back, the trail hits you with a complete different perspective of the whole Park.
