Concept
Why Tatwa?
Tatwa means the 4 basic elements. Whole world revolves around these 4 elements and so does our story.
"Tatwa" is a color sensitivity project which emphasizes on the colors of natural elements to convey an emotion. It`s a short clip from a story which 7 people came up with.
The scene shows "Agni" raging at the "Vriksha" community" (trees and forest) who has accused him as the cause of global warming and random forest fires on world wide radio. An unstable Agni is shown walking into the middle of forest and letting loose of his pent up anger. Turning almost everything on the planet to ashes, only animals remain along with newborn shrubs.
This scene is followed by a cold winter taking over the planet where only source of heat is Agni who gives away his life to protect Earth from an everlasting snowstorm.

This was the final line test done for Tatwa. Done as a very detailed animatic to get me started on the sound design.

The entire project was a week long. This includes ideation, animatic, around 700 hand painted frames, sound and editing.
