The Business Problem

This project was done in partnership with the State government by creating kiosk at transit stops which lets commuters refill their transit cards.

We are expected to optimize the commuters’ experience in using the transit cards at the Kiosk by defining and structuring the payment interaction flow.

Kiosk and Transit Card Features

·       The machine will allow commuters re-fill their transit card with cash up to an allowable limit ·       

There are four push buttons which  can be configured for various actions, and a 40-character text display next to each button.

·       In addition, the machine has a transit card reader, Naira bill acceptor, change return, and is placed right next to a station agent, who

can be of further assistance.

Expected Output

·       We clearly defined tasks that can be performed with the kiosk e.g. Refill card with the exact amount of cash inserted.

·       Wireframes, mockups and/or prototypes which demonstrates how the kiosk supports these tasks through action-feedback loops.

·       We thought through a list of challenges, technical limitations and work arounds.
