Hier beschäftigte ich mich erneut mit der Pareidolie. Ich fotografierte random Beton Oberflächen und achtete mich in erster Linie nicht auf Pareidolien. Sondern achtete mich nur auf interessante Strukturen. In einem zweiten Schritt betrachtete ich die Fotos genau und in zwei von ihnen sah ich Menschen und Tiere. Am interessantesten schienen mir die drei Männer und der Hundekopf. Bis dahin hatte ich aber weiterhin noch keine Ahnung, in welche Richtung es gehen würde. Den Moment der Ungewissheit zu überwinden ist manchmal sehr herausfordernd und kann ein Hindernis darstellen. Hier empfiehlt es sich, einfach drauf loszuzeichnen, und zu schauen, was passiert. Kaum hatte ich den ersten Kopf illustriert, war für mich klar, dass ich hier keinen Alten Mann, sondern einen "Lucho Libre" vor mir hatte. Der Rest ergab sich dann wie von selber.
Und wieder ist es spannend zu sehen, wie sehr sich Skizze und Reinzeichnung unterscheiden und oftmals etwas ganz anderes entsteht als eigentlich angedacht.
Here I studied the phenomenon of pareidolia again. I photographed random concrete surfaces and did not primarily pay attention to pareidolia. I only focused on interesting structures. In a second step, I looked closely at the photos and in two of them, I saw people and animals. The most interesting seemed to be the three men and the dog's head. But until then I still had no clue in which direction it would go. Overcoming the moment of uncertainty is sometimes very challenging and can be an obstacle. Here it is advisable to just draw away and see what happens. As soon as I had illustrated the first head, it was clear to me that I was not looking at an old man, but at a "Lucho Libre". The rest came naturally. And again it's exciting to see how much the sketch and the final drawing differ and how often something completely unexpected emerges.
