Semi-Detached Residential

SEMI - DETACHED RESIDENTIAL
A wood-wrapped centerpiece anchors this integrated living space – where visual continuity between the living, dining, and kitchen becomes prevalent.
FIRST LEVEL SPACE PLANNING

The house has a vast land area underutilized, which could potentially increase the interior spaces by extending out the facade. We extended the living room, master bedroom, and a balcony at the second level, double up as a car porch shelter.

From the massive TV cabinet to the dry kitchen cabinet, one would not have realized two concealed doors within the seamless laminate panels. One of the secret doors will lead them to the wet kitchen and laundry yard. The mess is kept at the back, where the helper gets her privacy and working space. The other door will lead to the powder room.
SECOND LEVEL SPACE PLANNING

We extended the master bedroom to align with the first level. The master bedroom is now spacious enough to cater to a more extensive shower area and more wardrobe space.

An unconventional and open bathroom layout so that the couple will not have to fight for the toilet in the morning. A mild steel divider separating the two spaces was constructed to support and install the mirror and glass panels.
3D ILLUSTRATION OF GIRL'S ROOM

Each bedroom carries its anchor, further accentuating its
personalities through textures, colors, and prints.
3D ILLUSTRATION OF ELDER SON'S ROOM

A collaboration with Peggy board, we customized their boards into a house-looking study desk. A free and cozy corner for him to do the reading and invite friends to study. Further in is a walk-in wardrobe space with a low attic ceiling.

3D ILLUSTRATION OF YOUNGER SON'S ROOM

The room layout is confined. With just a super single bed, it could occupy up the whole space. We manage to make this compact room filled with all the necessities, such as bookshelves, study desk, and display, yet not looking cluttered. Have a look at the attic layout plan and see how we solve this issue with space planning.
ATTIC LEVEL SPACE PLANNING

We bring down the walls and build carpentry to separate the space. The corridor cabinet at the bigger bedroom is accessed outside, which compensates the other room's wardrobe space.
