Design Play Repeat is a self-initiated project that should show how we see our daily design loop as 3D motion designers.
After a couple of 'regular' production weeks with few creative projects in our schedule, we decided we needed a change of pace. That's when this project was born. No deadline, just a nice project to work on a bit during our breaks and would render at night.
We picked a concept (a day in the life of a motion designer), a look (green guy, we called Bob) and set the scenes in a soft, classic European capital setting.
So we worked on this along side our client projects for a couple of weeks. We discussed, directed and designed this short film as a team, had some fun and learned a lot while doing so.

The result wasn't just this animation: The development period was a nice break from client work and gave us a project to discuss and change freely without our regular client-designer boundaries.
