Darwin's Slipper Chair

Mimicking the beauty of Darwin's Slipper flower also known as Calceolaria uniflora, this seat offers a semi-covered space where one can relax and feel comfortable. With the use of solar energy technology, specifically Photovoltaic (PV), the top of the chair provides light when needed. As a part of the flower looks like cotton, so does the feel of the cushion of this design, making it ergonomic when one is seated on it.

Solar energy is harnessed through Photovoltaic (PV) Technology which directly converts the light from the sun to electricity. This energy is preferable as it does not contribute air pollution or greenhouse gases that harm the environment. If preferred to be used indoors, the solar panel can be placed on the house's roof. But if wanted outdoors, the solar panel can be attached on top of the chair.
