St. Louis Zoo Animal Postcards
The Objective of This Assignment was to make post cards for the St. Louis Zoo focusing on the animals they have. I wanted to use the Low Poly look on the St. Louis Zoo's websites main page animals.

Thought Process
When I was given this assignment I really wanted to have fun while also pushing myself into doing low poly art. I have always enjoyed looking at as well as making low poly art, so I wanted to challenge myself with using the style on animals. I also wanted to keep the color palette very simple so it doesn't confuse the viewer to much.

Design Process
When it came to the overall design I would use a low poly grid over the picture of the animals and trace every triangle. I would change the size of the grid to also add or reduce the visual complexity. Once I would have all the essential foreground elements traced I would then color each section one flat base color. I would then either darken or lighten certain triangles depending on the placement as well as lighting.
