Lelov, near Częstochowa in southern Poland. Every winter several hundred Orthodox Jews from Israel, Western Europe and the United States come here, to pray at the grave of Tzadik Dawid Biderman (1746-1814), the founder of the Lelov Hassidic dynasty.
The arrival and presence of Hasidim are important for local heritage, is a pretext for various cultural and tourist activities. In summer there is the festival of two cultures: poles and Jews. Religious duty goes hand in hand with fun.
